A couple hours passed by, and a huge commotion disturbed all of the cats from their slumber.
"Like, what was that?!" exclaimed Flash as he fell out of his chair. He scampered away to hide in both fear and shame.
"Wait for me!" Otis called behind him, his girth shifting back and forth as he trotted away. Mac and Harley looked at each other with the same look: those kids will never learn. They both knew it was only the usual disturbance of a disgruntled cat receiving its shots.
After thumping into a veterinary technician's legs, Flash finally made his way to the back of the clinic.
"Hey Flash, it was just that really unhappy guy from this morning," remarked Otis who was still trailing behind Flash.
"Tsk, whatever," Flash grumbled, still embarrassed from his fall in the lobby.
"Look at the extra food back here!" mused Otis from the back bathroom. He happily dug into the large, full dish that belonged to Mac.
